On checkout day, a hotel hold can be simplest if returning to the hotel does not undo your route. A staffed counter near the departure station may be better for a one-way sightseeing day, but only after confirming its last pickup and bag acceptance.
Station counters worth checking along your route
| Checked T-Luggage counter | Listed location cue |
|---|---|
| Seoul Station | B1, near exits 1–2 |
| Hongik University | B1, between Line 2 and AREX |
| Myeongdong | B1, near exits 1 / 9 / 10 |
| Gimpo Airport | B1, toward the Line 5 international-terminal direction |
Confirm hours, bag acceptance and pickup before committing. The checked delivery arrangement requires a staffed counter at one end; do not assume locker-to-locker delivery. Source: Incheon Airport: Airport Railroad Guide / T-Luggage.
Choose storage versus delivery first
Storage returns the bag to the same point; delivery adds deadlines, destination acceptance and delivery timing.
For a sightseeing day between hotels, choose pickup location before choosing the cheapest locker.
Avoid a storage choice that makes you cross the city twice just to reclaim a bag.
Compare before you commit
| Option | Best question to ask |
|---|---|
| Hotel hold | Can I collect after checkout at my actual departure time? |
| Station locker | Will my dimensions fit, and when can I access it? |
| Staffed counter | What is the final same-day pickup time? |
| Airport delivery | When will it arrive, and at which terminal/counter? |
This comparison organizes the decision. It is not a guarantee of availability or an individual price quote.
Use the right type of service
Compare hotel hold, staffed station counter, unmanned locker and airport provider by operating window, bag size and pickup path.
Ask the hotel whether it accepts pre-check-in/post-checkout storage and whether it takes responsibility for valuables.
A locker with available small spaces is not evidence that a large suitcase will fit.
Check the operator: Incheon Airport: Airport Railroad Guide / T-Luggage · Incheon Airport: Amenities directory.
Understand station-to-airport delivery conditions
T-Luggage's official airport guide requires a staffed counter at at least one end; locker-to-locker delivery is not established by that guide.
Check current booking cutoff, flight terminal and airline check-in time against delivery arrival.
Do not put passports, medication, cash, batteries restricted by provider rules or same-day essentials in a dispatched bag without checking terms.
Locate the counter precisely
Use station level, corridor/exit reference and a Korean place name alongside the map.
The airport amenities directory must be filtered for terminal and date because old Hanjin notices have conflicting locations/hours.
Confirm the right side of security and whether a transit passenger can reach a landside provider.
Build a pickup-safe itinerary
Work backwards from counter close and flight check-in rather than squeezing one more attraction into the route.
Save claim ticket, provider contact and pickup instructions offline.
If pickup is delayed, contact the provider before closing; do not assume unattended overnight access.
Compare a quote for your actual bag and pickup time
Open the provider link with your bag dimensions, drop-off and pickup times ready. Compare its current quote and late-collection terms before paying.
Use a checklist for valuables, cutoff, pickup location and flight terminal.
Choose storage near a route you will already use; do not add an extra cross-city journey just to leave a bag.
